Bridger's Blessing

Kyle blessed Bridger the last Sunday of July. Kyle did such a good job on the blessing, Bridger is lucky to have such a great daddy! :)

My Handsome Guys! :)

We had a hard time finding a white outfit for Bridger to wear, they don't make a lot of options for little boys! But my Mom finally found this cute white onesie and socks. Kyle's mom crocheted the white blanket for Bridger.

Pudgy legs! :)

Me holding Bridger. Looks like he was a little mad at the moment...

My Grandma Parkinson came down from Idaho to the blessing. It was the first time she had seen Bridger!

Bridger loves his Uncle Samuel! He can always get Bridger smiling and laughing.

Bridger always has to have at least one arm up while he sleeps. At night we leave his arms out of the blanket when we wrap him up. He is so funny.

He looks a little startled! We were looking into the mirror when I took this picture. I know he can tell in the mirror who I am, or who ever is hloding him in front of it. But I wonder if her realizes that the baby in the mirror is him. :)

We like going for walks in the evening. We had Bridger's stroller in the recline position but he was getting mad so I moved it upright and he loves it! I guess he likes being able to look around while we're on the walk.

What a good looking guy!

The Cutest Baby :)

Bridger is already getting so big! I can't believe it. He is now 2 1/2 months old, and two weeks ago when we weighed him he was 12 lb 3 oz, so I'm guessing now he's over 13 pounds.

He LOVES his baths! And he looks so adorable in his little bathrobe. :)

Bridger has started to smile all the time! It is the best smile in the world, I love it. Hopefully soon I can catch it on camera.

He is getting so chubby! And lately he has decided he likes to pee everywhere when his diaper is being changed.

I love his big blue eyes!

Bridger has been sleeping pretty well, although we're still always exhausted. :) He sleeps from 9:30 until 4:00 when he eats, and then sleeps again until somewhere between 6-7:00.

We recently bought the Baby Bullet, and I'm excited for a couple months from now when we can start feeding him some homemade baby food!
It is so fun to watch Bridger grow and learn! We really have the best baby! :)

Before and After

We have had a lot of fun painting and decorating our new house since we moved in back in April! I thought I'd post a few pictures of some of the things we've done!

This is our kitchen before. It was nice, but I thought it was too dark so I convinced Kyle that we should paint the cabinets! I wanted to do a light color, and since our counters were white I didn't really want to do the cabinets white as well. So we decided to paint them light green!

This is when we were priming the cabinets. I guess that gives an idea of what they would look like white. Also as you can see, I was eight months pregnant while we were doing this! :)

Here is what our kitchen looks like today! I really liked how it turned out. I think it lightened up our kitchen a lot, which I like because i'm not into dark colors.

I made these curtains for the window above our kitchen sink.

This was Bridger's room when we first moved in....boring!

We painted these white stripes on the walls. It took forever to tape them off, but I think it turned out great!

I didn't really have like a color scheme in mind, but I found this funny little end table at the DI and painted it. Then I realized it matched the little quilt I made that is on the chair in this picture, so I took the colors from the quilt for the rest of the decorations.

I made these little pennant flags, the curtains, and painted the letters for his name.

This is our living room before we moved in....

.....and this is it now! We did a beach theme since I love the beach so much! Also we went there on our Honeymoon. On the wall above our couch we have lots of pictures of the beach, around the painting my dad did as a wedding gift for us of Nantucket Island. I don't know how well you can see it, but for my bithday Kyle got me a giant shell that is on our coffee table. I like it! I had fun making the pillow covers for the living room, I stamped words onto them with paint. I thought they turned out cute, maybe I will make some more to sell on my Etsy shop.

So this is the only before picture I could find of the front of our house, it was the day we brought Bridger home from the hospital. :) Notice the screen door (which I thought was a nuisance) and that the door is white.

We painted the door this blue color, which I like, but I think now I want a light blue door with paint that is flat, not glossy. Maybe we'll paint it again. Also see I have a no soliciting sign? Our neighborhood has so many sales people! It's really annoying and I hate it cause they wake the baby up! And they seem to ignore the sign...

Please ignore our dead grass and our weeds. :) We haven't had too much time for yard work, thanks to Bridger! :)

We are loving our new house and neighborhood! Our ward is really fun too, although we haven't been able to go much since bridger was born just a few weeks before we moved in. Now we are getting back into the swing of things though!
There are still a few things we want to do to the house, but overall I think it looks pretty darn good! :)
